The Masoretic Text of the Old Testament and the Received Text of the New Testament (Textus Receptus) are those texts of the original languages we accept and use. The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice.

4. Man was created in the image of God; man sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also that spiritual death which is separation from God; and all human beings are born with a sin nature because of Adam’s sin. Genesis 1:26, 2:16, Romans 5:12
5. Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified by his shed blood. John 3:16, Romans 5:1, 5:8-9, I Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 9:11-15, 27-28
6. The crucified body of the Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead; He ascended into heaven and there acts as our intercessor. Matthew 28:6, I Corinthians 15:4, Acts 1:9, Romans 8:34, Hebrews 7:25
7. The personal, premillennial return of Christ is imminent. John 14:1-6, Acts 1:11, Revelation 4:1
8. Salvation is by grace through faith alone (plus nothing, minus nothing) in the finished work of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. Ephesians 2:8-9, John 6:47, Revelation 3:20
9. All believers are baptized into the True Body by the Holy Spirit and are set apart to walk after the things of the Spirit. I Corinthians 1:30, 12:13, Ephesians 2:10, I Peter 1:14-19
10. All true believers, having been born again in the family of God, are possessors of everlasting life, shall never perish and are eternally secure. John 10:28-29, I Peter 1:3-5
11. The bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust is certain, the everlasting blessings of the saved and everlasting punishment of the lost. I Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 20:11-15, John 5:28-29
12. Immersion is the only Scriptural mode of baptism and is for believers only. Romans 6:3-4, Acts 8:36-38
13. The Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of His death until He comes, and is to be practiced periodically. Luke 22:17-20, I Corinthians 11:23-30
