Get to know Pastor Aaron

Hometown
Pastor Aaron grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is very quick to tell anyone who says differently that he is not a Yankee, but rather, a “mid-westerner”.
How’d he meet his wife?
Pastor Aaron and Rachel met at Bible college in Powell, TN. Rachel worked in the mail room and since Pastor rarely received mail (and complained about it often), Rachel began placing hand-written notes in his mailbox. This was the beginning of their friendship, which eventually became deeper. They were married on December 17th, 1999.
Favorite Bible passage
1 Timothy 1:12 "And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry."
Favorite Activities
In his spare time Pastor Aaron enjoys golfing and road cycling. He recently completed a personal cycling goal of an 81-mile bike ride. He has yet to reach his goal of breaking 100 on the golf course. (He may need to just stick to the bicycle.) He also likes to watch his hometown Indianapolis Colts during football season, and only enjoys playing fantasy football when his favorite QB Peyton Manning is healthy.
Favorite Quotes
"A leader is one who hides his panic" "Never despair, but when you do. Keep on going, even in despair." "The tea kettle doesn't make its sweet music till it's put under pressure." "Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak Kindly. Leave the rest to God."

Philippians 3:9-10

"And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death."
